We're excited to announce that 12 exceptional students have joined Team ROVER-71, marking our largest recruitment drive to date. These talented individuals will play crucial roles in our URC 2026 campaign.
Meet Our New Team Members
Our new recruits come from diverse engineering backgrounds including Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, and Aerospace Engineering. They underwent a rigorous selection process that included technical assessments, interviews, and practical challenges.
Team Distribution
- Mechanical Team: 3 new members specializing in chassis design and robotic arms
- Electrical Team: 2 members focusing on PCB design and power systems
- Software Team: 4 members working on autonomy and computer vision
- Science Team: 2 members for instrumentation and sample analysis
- Management: 1 member for sponsorship and outreach
Onboarding and Training
All new members are currently undergoing intensive onboarding, learning about our rover systems, competition rules, and team culture. They'll be contributing to active projects starting next month.
